These terms and conditions apply to all persons participating in the ISUZU Dealer Event (hereinafter "Event"), in particular representatives and employees of ISUZU authorized dealers (hereinafter "Participants"). By registering for the Event, the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions.
Participation requires timely registration via the registration channels provided by the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants and to decline registrations without stating reasons, in particular in the event of overbooking. A registration confirmation will be sent by email; participation is only confirmed upon receipt of this confirmation.
Participation in any test drives, driving training sessions, or off-road courses additionally requires that the Participant holds a valid driving license appropriate for the respective vehicle and presents it upon request.
The Organizer endeavors to carry out the announced program as planned, but reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, speakers, and content, as well as to shorten, postpone, or cancel the Event — including at short notice — for example for organizational reasons, force majeure, or weather-related reasons (e.g. for outdoor or off-road activities). There is no entitlement to the Event being carried out in the announced form.
Participation in the Event is free of charge for invited dealers. Travel costs and any accommodation costs are the responsibility of the Participant.
Participants must follow the instructions of the Organizer, security personnel, and the respective marshals (in particular during test drives and off-road courses). The Organizer may exclude Participants who violate these instructions, who are visibly under the influence of alcohol or other substances impairing their ability to drive, or who endanger the safety of other Participants, from further participation — in particular from test drives.
The Organizer is entitled to take photographs, video, and audio recordings during the Event in which Participants may be depicted or identifiable, and to use these for public relations, press, and marketing purposes (e.g. on the website, social media channels, or in print materials). Participants who do not consent to such use must notify the Organizer in writing before the Event begins; in this case, the Organizer will refrain from such use to the extent organizationally reasonable.
Personal data collected during registration will be processed exclusively for the purpose of organizing and conducting the Event and — where corresponding consent has been given — for marketing purposes. Further information can be found in the Organizer's privacy policy.
German law applies, excluding the conflict-of-law provisions of private international law. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the Event is, to the extent permitted by law, the Local Court of Wiesbaden. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
Participation in the Event, in particular in test drives, driving demonstrations, off-road courses, or other active program elements, is at the Participant's own risk and responsibility. Each Participant must independently assess whether they are physically and in terms of driving ability capable of participating in the respective program elements.
The Organizer shall only be liable for damages — of any kind, in particular personal injury, property damage, and financial loss — to the extent that such damages are attributable to intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Organizer, its legal representatives, or its vicarious agents. The Organizer shall not be liable for damages caused by slight negligence, unless such damages involve injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
Liability for damages arising from the Participant's own misconduct, non-compliance with safety instructions, or the behavior of other participants or third parties is — to the extent permitted by law — excluded.
The following additionally applies to test drives and driving demonstrations with ISUZU vehicles: The Participant confirms that they hold a valid driving license and undertakes to use the respective vehicle only within the route, speed, and instructions specified by the Organizer. In the event of grossly negligent or intentional damage to the test vehicle by the Participant (e.g. through disregard of instructions, intoxication, or improper use), the Organizer may seek recourse against the Participant to the extent permitted by law; existing insurance coverage (see Section 5) remains unaffected.
The Organizer accepts no liability for personal belongings brought by Participants (e.g. clothing, technical devices, vehicles in the parking lot), unless the damage is attributable to intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Organizer.
Test vehicles are covered by statutory third-party motor vehicle liability insurance. Additional event liability or accident insurance for personal injury to Participants during the Event does/does not exist. Participants are advised to take out their own accident or travel insurance.
